Meet the Staff

Nick Manfredi is a certified polygraph examiner and the owner of Insight Polygraph & Private Investigations. He graduated from Marston Polygraph Academy in San Bernardino, CA which is an accredited polygraph school by the American Polygraph Association (APA). Nick is certified in Behavior Analysis Investigative Interview and Interrogation Techniques (BATI Certification). He also received his Law Enforcement Investigation Certification through the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Nick is an active member in the American Polygraph Association (APA), the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE), and the American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP). Nick earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University, in Azusa, California.

Nick is a licensed private investigator by the State of California – Department of Consumer Affairs (License Number PI188045).

Nick is a retired police lieutenant and detective bureau commander. He is currently a law enforcement polygraph examiner and conducts pre-employment and criminal polygraph testing. He has worked in law enforcement since 1987 and has extensive experience in the following areas: Investigations, polygraph, interview, and interrogation techniques, credibility assessment interviews, and behavior analysis. Nick served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Patricia Manfredi

Administrative Director

Patricia Manfredi has over 20 years of administrative work experience in the legal and corporate professions. Patricia also has experience in higher learning academia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Arts degree in Leadership Development from Azusa Pacific University.

Ron Garcia

Senior Investigator

Ron Garcia served in law enforcement for over 30 years, retiring as an Assistant Chief of Investigators with Riverside District Attorney’s office. Ron has extensive experience in investigations and is currently employed by a county law enforcement agency conducting background investigations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Leadership management from Union Institute and University.

Angelica Newland

Angelica Newland served in law enforcement for 11 years, retiring as a K9 handler for the Fontana Police Department. Angelica has extensive experience in investigations and is currently employed by a county law enforcement agency conducting background investigations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in leadership management from Union Institute and University.

Crystal Horton’s commitment to law enforcement was spent with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and lasted just over a decade as a Deputy Sheriff. Before leaving the Sheriff’s Department, she was working with a specialized team handling fraudulent workers’ comp claims. Her experiences have allowed her to gain knowledge and skills in investigations. She currently conducts extensive background investigations with a county law enforcement agency.
